The Next Horror Game After Forgery
New York Fashion Week is only a couple of months away and your boss is expecting you to come up with a design that will make an impact on the company’s bottom line. You moved to the city thinking you’d be the next Iris van Herpen or Behnaz Farahi, but you ended up at this company, where you scour the internet for other people’s designs to put onto T-shirts to make enough money to pay for rent. Hopefully this opportunity from your boss will finally put your name on the map.
Knockoff is a story of a desperate fast fashion designer named Marcos, who discovers a cursed dress design from an estate sale. In this solo horror journaling game, you will be cutting out fabric textures and gluing it over a croquis (a drawing of a fashion model). Similar to the mechanics in Forgery, the fabrics that you choose will determine the outcome to the story…some more monstrous than others.

A Parasocial Experience
A local radio show was playing in the surrounding area of Akron, Ohio, before it happened. DJ Mike from 106.6 The Brink was doing his late night show when something strange took over, causing a terrible event to befall its listeners.
You are playing one of the listeners who was working the late night shift. You are documenting your work in a journal while hearing DJ Mike undergo his transformation into something beyond this realm.
In this solo horror journaling game, choose between three different characters to play as, while listening to a soundtrack pre-recorded with voiceover actors and music (to be announced soon!)

What other conventions will we be attending?
We’ll be attending OrcaCon on January 5-7 and demoing Deimos Academy with copies available for purchase there. Banana will also be doing a live book reading of Forgery.
After that, we will be at Gary Con on March 21-24, demoing Jiangshi: Blood in the Banquet Hall.
As we transition to Read/Write Memory, we carry forward the spirit of chaotic immersive gameplay that has always been the core of Game and a Curry. We’re excited to have you join us on this journey and we can’t wait to see where your stories take you.
